As you have asked about admission fees in iit so I would be considering the b.tech fees for this. So, in every iit the fees including your hostel and mess is around 10-12L per annum.

The fees would be decreased on the basis of family annual income  . Like.if your family income is less than 1L then your full tuition fees would be remitted and if your family income stays between 1L and 5L , 2/3 rd of the tuition fees is remitted.

The course-wise fee structure for the session 2022-23 has been provided by the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs). The candidates can check the fees structure for the same from the official website or from the official website of the particular IIT, whose fee structure they want to search for.

The fee of IITs for the complete course ranges between INR 8-10 lakh for general category students. Average per semester fee for BTech is around 1.5 lakh.

There are some waivers and fee benefits too available:

• G eneral & OBC students belonging to families whose annual income is less than Rs 1 lakh- Full waiver
• General & OBC students belonging to families with an annual income Rs 1-5 lakh - Two-thirds of the tuition fee waived off, irrespective of their category
• Scheduled Caste- Full waiver
• Scheduled Tribe- Full waiver
• Differently-abled- Full waiver

There are scholarship schemes too offered by the insititues. The scholarships are based on the merit of the candidates.
