For person with disabilities there is 5% reservation of seats in various NITs,IIITs and GFTIs which helps them to take admission in the respective colleges.It is important to note that benefits of reservation for admission to NITs/ IIITs and GFTIs will be given only to those classes/ castes/ tribes which will be in the respective central list published by the government of India.

Firstly, PWD candidates will be alloted 4 hours for attempting the Jee paper.
Secondly, unlike general category candidates, such candidates can expect criteria wise lower cutoff (probably marks between 1-20) which can easily make them eligible to hold a seat in top NITs/IITs.
Remember, certain documents are required to withstand your candidature under reservation quota so keep them ready before the counselling begins failing which, such candidate may be exempted from taking part in counselling rounds under JOSAA.
