According to the sources, KEA has informed that NEET will not be unnecessary for admissions in BNYS or Bachelors in Naturopathy and Yoga System courses at the state of Karnataka, instead, the college entrance test or CET will be held for the admission process in BNYS 2019 in Karnataka medical colleges.The candidates who wish to take up the course had to submit the application by 27th March 2019 and pay the application fees by 29th of March 2019 for Karnataka BNYS admissions. According to the rules of AYUSH previous year, 72 seats in Ayurveda, 12 seats in Unani and 74 seats in Homeopathy were vacant which led colleges to grant admission to non-NEET candidates to fill up the seats.
