What is cutt off for taking admission in iit bombay for gate exam?

Hello aspirant , can you please mention your category (GEN/OBC/SC/ST) it varies according to the category. Assuming that you are from General category , and are interested in Computer Science engineering then you need to be in top 50 rank score around 900 should suffice.

Hello

Gate rank is better parameter as marks depends on exam difficulty and students preparation . I am writing the answer for admission in top 5 or old IITs for CS branch.
In every IIT , they take 4090 students for MTech seats. e.g. In CS branch , for a GEN category students for direct admission in top 5 IITs , rank should be under 300 .
In interview based selection(e.g. in IIT delhi , kanpur) , they can call upto rank 600 .
They even call students upto rank 1000 for phd admission interview.
So , to stay safe get in top 300 .
