For PESSAT quota it'll be 3000 for biotechnology engineering.
According to last year's data it was 6039 state rank for general category. For 2019 it was
8484 and for 2018 it was 9655.
As you can see the cutoff is decreasing so you need to score lower rank. The rank below 600 is best for PES as it can give you scholarship too.
