Talking about the 85% quota for Himachal Pradesh, you could get a seat in a MBBS college if you get more than 500 for the unreserved category. For BDS anything above 440.

As a General category  your cutoff marks should be more than 500 to get a seat for MBBS and you should have more than 450 to get admission for BDS seats under 85% quota seats in Himanchal pradesh.

To get seat under state quota, you will have to get more than 500 if you wish to get seat in decent Govt colleges and more than 550 marks should be there to get admission in good medical colleges under AIQ.
