JEE mains is a national level entrance examination.

It is conducted every year in two sessions:-,

• January session and
• April ssession

• The purpose of conducting JEE Mains examination is to offer admission in various Government and private Engineering colleges in the country

• Also admission in NITs, IIITs is through JEE Mains examination

• JEE Mains examination is conducted by NTA

• Qualifying JEE Mains examination is mandatory to be eligible for JEE advanced examination through which admission in IITs is offered
