Hi there,
Jee mains is known as joint entrance exam. This exam is the entrance test for many top engineering colleges across the nation. Like the NJTS, LNMIIT, IIITS, PEC, etc.
All the student who want to become an engineer and do the studies from the the best colleges of the country has to give this paper.
This exam is also the first step to go into the IITS as well as the candidates who ckears this exam has the eligibility to write jee advance. If he clear it as well then the candidates can study engineering from the IITS,

Hi

JEE mains is a national level entrance examination.

It is conducted every year in two sessions:-,

January session and
April ssession

The purpose of conducting JEE Mains examination is to offer admission in various Government and private Engineering colleges in the country

Also admission in NITs, IIITs is through JEE Mains examination

JEE Mains examination is conducted by NTA

Qualifying JEE Mains examination is mandatory to be eligible for JEE advanced examination through which admission in IITs is offered
