GGSIPU (Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University) is the state funded government university in Delhi.

For admission to various  U.G. (B.Tech, Bachelors in Arts, Science, Mass Communication) and P.G. (MBA, M.Tech etc.)  in IPU , it conducts an exam called IPU-CET ( Indraprasta University Common Entrance Test) , every year in the month of April/May.

The intake procedure is Offline Exam > Merit List on based on performance in exam > Online Counselling > Admission Fees Payment

The notifications are out in the mid march and exams are conducted in April end and May starting .

For B.J.M.C [ Bachelors of Arts (Journalism and Mass Communication) ], the exam code is BJMC, exam is conducted in offline (pen-paper) mode, with time limit of 2.5 hrs, every year in the end of April. Since for IPU CET 2019 the notifications is not yet out, so we can't be sure about the exact date.

The exam contains 4 sections:

• English Language & Comprehension:- 25%

• General Awareness:- 25%

• Reasoning:- 25%

• Media Aptitude:- 25%

Total Number of questions in exam is 150 containing 4 marks each making maximum total of 600, -1 negative for every incorrect choice.

Application will be submitted online on www.ipu.ac.in

Application fees last year was Rs. 1000, possibly it will be same this year.
