The placements in the OU, Hyderabad in mechanical branch are pretty decent as everyone gets placed, but not all of them got placed in core companies, about 10-15 people got selected in core jobs, remaining people got software jobs from Infosys, Accenture, etc. ITC and Maruti are two well-known companies which come for placements with an average salary of 4 LPA.
