It is completely an online mode of exam.

BITS exam is basically divided into 4 sections namely

PART I-Physics(40 marks),

PART II-Chemistry(40 marks),

PART III-

a)English proficiency(15 marks)

b)Logical reasoning(10 marks)

PART IV-Mathematics(45 marks)

This gives a total of 150 marks and 150 question within 3 hours of stipulated time frame.

There are multiple choice questions,select 1 out of 4 options.

The marking scheme of the exam will +3 for correct response and -1 for incorrect response.
