Hello AB!

According to the WBJEE eligibility criteria, you must pass your 12th board exam with 45% in all subjects for GENERAL category. For ST/SC/OBC/pwd you must have 40% in all subjects. You must have passed English as a subject with at least 30% marks.

But in WBJEE counselling, some good colleges have college specific cutoffs. Like, Jadavpur University and University of Calcutta admit only those students who have scored above 60%(55% for SC/ST/OBC).

There are other colleges too which keep their specific board cutoffs but it is not more than 60%. So, I'll like to advise you to please don't take boards lightly.
