Hello Bindhu,

Hope you are doing well.

All India Quota (AIQ) which is 15% of all seats in NEET UG in a particular state is available to students from all over India, but the competition and score required for securing a seat in All India Quota is higher as compared to in State quota.

State Quota is 85% of the total NEET UG seats in a particular state which is reserved for that state domicile student.

Hope this clears your doubt. All the best!

Hi.

Students are provided with a choice to contest for any engineering seat available throughout India however, government colleges have 50% of the available seats under reserved for students who have completed their class 12th education from the state, to which the college belongs. These are known as State Quota Seats.

If a student of Punjab wishes to take admission in Rajasthan or any other state then he/she would be admitted under All India Quota, the remaining seats are all under All India Quota by default.

Good Luck

Hello dear aspirant…

Hope you are doing well…

Government medical colleges have a system wherein 15% of the seats are filled via all India counselling through which anybody can get a seat, irrespective of where they are from/reside. The other 85% of the seats are filled by state counselling in which only the applicants domiciled in the state of said college are eligible to appear.

Hope this helps

Hello aspirant

the 'Home State Quota' stands for reservation for candidates belonging to the state where the particular NIT or any other college in question is located, while the 'Other State Quota' reflects for the candidates under reserved categories and belonging to the state other than the one in which that NIT or any other college is located.

If you take admission in the state quota then a total of 85% seats in all the government colleges in that particular state will be reserved for admission of the students who have that state's domicile only. And rest 15% seats will be from people All over India ......but All India Quota requires more marks or rank to get that perticular seat in any branch

Hope this helps
