Hello,

Basic BDes eligibility is the completion of Class XII with a minimum of 50% in any  creative solutions, and develop realistic outcomes required in different fields.
The selection process for B.Des in India is done either on the basis of merit or through entrance exams. After the results of the exam are out, candidates will have to apply to the respective institutions that consider that exam.

Iit kanpur only offers M.Des and phd in design and not B.des. You can see that on it's official website even which is as follows:
