NIE Mysore civil engineering placements:

The placements are good compared to other colleges since placements are a little low for the civil engineering stream. In civil engineering, around 50% got placed in previous batch. L&T Construction, ATKINS, Gulf, Brigade and Mantri Developers are the regular companies that recruit. Internship programmes are also conducted for interested students in Bangalore or Mysore. The highest package was around 6 LPA.

The number of companies visiting NIE Mysore for the civil engineering students is very less. Last year, there were 3 companies and this year as wellthe number of companies were 3. The percentage of students getting selected for the interview  is lesser than 10 percent. The highest salary offered is Rs. 8 LPA (one 2018 passing student), and the lowest is Rs. 2.8 LPA.
