There is not much difference in CSE and IT in VIT Vellore capmus not in the terms of placement opportunities, recruiting companies, course curriculum, etc. Even there is not much difference in the scope of higher studies if you chose any one among IT or CSE. More or less, they are quite similar fields. So, if you get any one of these in VIT, I would suggest you to opt it. However, if you get CSE then it is more better as it has a good number of options in chosing a specialization as per your interest such as Big Data, Cloud Computing, ML & AI, etc.
