It is okay. But definitely there is huge scope of improvement. In many of the cases the management and the administration will only be better if the people working at the lower level be more efficient.

PLACEMENT WING
The placement scenario at JU is quite good. Departments like CSE and Etce record 100% placements. The placements in chemical engineering is also quite good .Nearly 50% of the students get placed in core companies through campus placement drives. Various consultancies and private banks like HSBC also recruit from JU. Apart from these, students scoring good marks in Gate, cat and gre go for higher educations at reputed various institutions. Some students also go for a job in PSU.

INTERNSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES
Various companies come to our campus for recruitmemt of interns. Apart fr these the students may perform an internship under any professor of the university. Although no formal internship is organised by the institute, the professors usually write recommendations to various industries like IOCl and also educational institutes.

JU has an average placement record in architecture branch. Companies like M N Dastur, Larsen & Turbo donot come every year. Mass recruiters are TCS, Infosys etc.
Many national and international placements have been made from this department in the past years. Firms take placements from our college at the posts for junior architects and many more with a salary package of Rs. 3,00,000 PA to Rs. 15,00,000 PA.
