The college Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata offers three programmes, B.Tech, M.Tech, and MCA. For admission, the eligible candidates must clear the approved entrance exams. The admission process depends on the candidate’s score in the entrance examination as well as their performance in the qualifying examination. For admission into the B.Tech programme, the candidates must clear either WBJEE or JEE (Main) by CBSE. For admissio n in MTech , the candidates must qualify the MAKAUT Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET). For admission to MCA, applicants must qualify the Joint Entrance Examination JECA by the WBJEE.

As you will be knowing that Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata is an autonomous engineering college. The institution mainly offers three programmes, B.Tech, M.Tech, and MCA. The B.Tech programme is a four-year course with 9 branches of specialisation, while the M.Tech is a two-year course with 7 areas of specialisation.  HIT also provides a three-year MCA course.
