Salary of geology is between 2.5 lakhs to 3.5 lakhs. It totally varies according to the job profile you have and the organisation you are working for.

Also youe experience matters and the skills you have. If you are experienced and highly educated having skills then you can grab a good job. You can also complete your education abroad.

the starting salary of a geologist may lie in between Rs 2.5 to Rs 3.5 lakhs , however it keep on increasing as you gain experience your field , you may find job in both private and government sector , in government sector one may can earn a salary package of around Rs 9.5 lakh per year ,
