PUMDET is conducted by Presidency  University, Kolkata for admission to MA History.

Its entrance syllabus consists of topics on Ancient Indian history, medieval Indian history, modern Indian history, post-1947 South Asian history, world history, antiquity to the early modern period, world history, the modern period upto the twentieth century.
