Hello sir,

National talent search exam (NTSE), is a national level scholarship program conducted by NCERT. The exam is conducted on two stage i.e. Scholastic aptitude test (SAT) and Mental aptitude test (MAT).

SAT - It test the problem solving skills of the students and includes verbal and nonverbal reasoning and grammar section.

MAT - it tests the academic skills of the students constituting questions from NCERT books of class 10. It includes physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, history, civics, geography, economics and general knowledge.

There is another section called Language test (LT). It tests the language skills of the applicant. It is just a qualifying examination and marks obtained in this test is not included in final score of the applicant.

Good luck,

Hope it helps :)
