If your rank is below 2000 then you can get into VIPS and for that you must score above 100 in CLAT. But it's better to be below 1500 to be on the safer side because for general category students the competition becomes really tough. Moreover VIPS is one of the best colleges among IPUs so if you're getting it then that's great. All the very best.

For admission in VILLS - VIPS any course requires the clearence of IPU CET. Considering the past year cutoffs the safe closing rank is around 200 for General Category. For Reserved categories it varies between 1500- 8000

The eligibility criteria after clearing the Entrance exam is that you should have passed 12th or 10+2 or anything equivalent with a minimum clearence score of 50% in aggregate. You must have passed English as a subject in curriculum
