For admission to around 985 BDS seats government dental colleges in Karnataka, it is mandatory for aspirants to appear and qualify National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). The candidates belonging to general category must secure at least 50 percentile, while for SC/ST/OBC aspirants, it is 40 percentile.
For Government Dental College, Bangalore, the last cutoff rank for ST candidate was 74394 and the marks equivalent to the rank was 404. While for admission to ESIC Dental College, Gulbarga, the candidate obtained 414 marks in NEET exam and 66951 as the equivalent cutoff rank.
