Dear student,

First of all congratulations on securing 4274 category rank in your JEE advanced. As you have not mentioned your category, so I am assuming that you belong from OBC category and thus you can get some of the good iits with this this much rank.

Now actually if your passion is teaching then definitely you can go in teaching field because there is a vast money in teaching field. And you will also learn everyday something new. Do the m.tech, after that do phd and you can become a lecturer. Or you can become a teacher for giving iit jee coachings.

Now if you want placements then also you can go in them because as you afe an iitian,  then you can get a good placement and a good job in a good company.
Both the things are good but it depends totally on your interest that if you want to go to placement then you can go but if you want to do teaching then according to me first take the placement and then complete your passion of teaching. Because that would be more beneficial.
