Central University of Andhra Pradesh is the 47th Central University in India The Admission of this university is based on CUCET (Central Universities Common Entra nce Test) is a national level test which is conducted every year in the month of May-June.  A bill was approved in July 2018  and the transit campus of the university, at the IT Business Incubation Centre,The JNTU Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur was inaugurated in August 2018.
