Hello,
Yes there is a role of class 12th board exams marks during the counselling time.Suppose that anyone who has qualified jee mains with good marks and got seat in a NIT but if he don't have 75% in class 12th then he can't get admission there.
So 12th marks plays an important role for admission in private colleges or government colleges.
