IIITs mainly have two branches like they have CSE and ECE only. Both of these are very good branches from placements perspective. In CSE, you have slightly more chances of getting placed in a big tech company. ECE students are eligible for all the companies that look for CSE students and also ECE students can take placement in their branch related company.

See, if you straightforwardly want that which one is the best than it is CSE. If you are interested in circuits and all and you want to be on a safer side to be eligible for placement in more companies than you should go for ECE.

It depends on your state and placements in IIT are top notch among all institutions in India. However, placements should not be a concern for you, as a good education would pave many paths for your bright future but still among all branches, CSE, EE, Mechanical and Civil have the top placements.
