Dear student, Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University Hyderabad is one of the top most universities in Hyderabad for pursuing engineering courses. Chemical and metallurgical Engineering are both good and well taught in JNTU. Generally, chemical engineering students have better placement and better faculties than that of metallurgical engineering students but the record varies from year to year.

Hello,

Both the branches are equally good in JNTU Hyderabad. It is one of the best institutes in Telangana. The lab equipments and research facalities are equally good in both the branches.

But for core placements i would suggest you to go with chemical engineering because even in the placement of first batch core companies offered to the students. But core placement is very difficult in Mechanical Branch.
