• For the admission to the BA-LLB (Hons) (5-year programme) the Banaras Hindu University conducts Undergraduate Entrance Test or otherwise commonly known as BLAT, in April every year.
• It is a prominent law university. Even it has got nice infrastructure and some good faculty. But it doesn't hold that great placement records.
• The faculty members are awesome.
• Events are conducted at a good level as well as professional university level. Intra-level and national level competition are also conducted here.

• NLU offers five years program not three years.
• The courses offered by the university are affiliated to UGC & the Bar Council of India (BCI).
• CLAT is used for admission to the National Law Universities (NLUs), IP University, etc.
• AILET is held by the National Law University of Delhi and it is considered only for law admissions in NLU Delhi.
• It is ranked 5 which makes it tougher to get admission in.
• The college has good placement records.

Overall NLU is better for placements and BHU is better foe faculty members.
