It was established in the year 1997 and is under the affiliation of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. It is also approved by AICTE and NBA with NAAC Accreditation Grade 'A'.

Approx 85% of the students gets placed every year during campus drive. The Highest Package attained by a student of CSE Branch is around INR 26.8 LPA with Average Package ranging around INR 5 - 7 LPA.

The Highest Package attained by a student of CSE Branch is around INR 30 LPA with Average Package ranging around INR 5 - 6 LPA.

And both of the institute provides quality education and also constantly update their academic syllabus. And also claims that it is designed in such a way that their students gets industry ready.

Overall both of the Colleges are undoubtedly very good but BVRIT Hyderabad is slightly better than BVRIT Narsapur.
