Hello,

Both are good colleges, however UPES is good for petroleum engineering and Computer Science Engineering so i would recommend you to go for SRM as it is one of the best engineering colleges in India with good placement in all the branches. But go for SRM only if you get admission into the main campus otherwise go for UPES.

I hope this helps.

Hello,

I will suggest you to go for UPES, If u would have asked for cse or it departments, i would have surely suggested SRM. Bt for mechanical, civil or electrical engineering don't even think about srm. Faculty is not that good and bad placement. There is only one benefit in srm that is, even if u r an average student, u’ll surely graduate with 8-8.5 + cgpa. But i don't think cgpa matters more for a core branch. If u are giving ur four valueable years and are investing 12 lacs+ rupees and getting good cgpa, u will atleast expect a job with good package.

So my suggestion is to opt upes over srm.
