Facts about IIIT Trichy :

• NIRF Ranking- Not Announced
• Highest Package- 19 Lakh(2021)
• Median Salary: 8.9 Lakh
• Fees : 1,02,270  for general per semester

After looking on factors like Ranking, Placement and fees, IIIT Kancheepuram seems better choice than IIIT Trichy. However both are good Institutes but if you have to choose between these two, I would suggest you to go for IIIT Kancheepuram.
