Hello,
The branch you choose should be of your interest. No matter which one is good or bad, if you go with the better branch and ignores the branch of your interest than in the end you will regret because without your interest you cannot perform to your best.

But since i have to answer, both the branches are required in there corresponding sectors. Both are two different streams and both are required. So before choosing just look at the subjects of both the streams. And feel free to choose any of the branch.
