ECE is good and so is CSE. Both the department have high scope in this Technology world.basic difference is ece deals with hardware part of computer n CSE with the software part. Whichever is best for you go for that.
Even taking either of one branch you can study other branch subjects too in your free time to become a good competitor.
No need of comparison just make yourself best n strong in one field. That will help you more.

afcourse the Mother campus is always good For study.
Because infrastructure is always better..Brand is better..Faculty is always good In old campus so I think E.C in vellor is better Then CSE in Chennai..
Because the whole institute rans over the Vellor name..& The value Of your degree also Based on Campus you choose..
You will get a good opportunity & Better crowd in Vellor..so Grab it.

Yeah I will help you regarding this both campuses are good but my suggestion please go for the ECE at vellore because vellore campus is very good compare to chennai campus
