There is no doubt that IT/CS have more placement percentage in compare to ECE/ME.

But for IIITs and NITs, some IIITs are better than some NITs

So for top ranking IIITs and NITs refer the following list:

Hi Aspirant!

It depends on which IIITs or NITs you are talking about. If you are getting admission in top IIIT for Computer science then you must opt that , like IIIT Hydrabad, Gwalior, Guwahati, Jabalpur and Banglore.

And if you are getting in the following mentioned NITs, then you must join this as these NITs have best placement record for ECE over others:

NIT Trichy,  Warangal , Surathkal,  Allahabad, Calicut and Rourkela.

Other than this, if you are interested in only CS or only ECE then choose according to your interest as both IIITs and NITs are considered top institutes for engineering.
