Dear student,
I would recommend you to appear for both as if you appear for jee, then you will have an option of various colleges all over the country and most of the colleges accept jee mains and advanced score in india. And if you are a resident of Maharashtra then mht cet would be a good option to have a choice of colleges of Maharashtra that accept mht cet score and have a domicile quota, there you would have an advantage over other people that are non domicile students and take admission through jee mains. So I advice each and every student to appear for both jee and state engineering entrance examinations. Definitely jee is widely accepted so that can be considered as superior.
