all are good but it depends upon you that how will you  utilise your opportunity you will get in particular college and also it depends upon surrounding and atmosphere that in which you can adjust and possible for you to go.
And about marks ; marks are not the criteria rank is the main criteria for admission so you have to secure rank under 2000-4000 ( vary according to different colleges you can see last year's cut offs for specific college.)
But to be in safe position so that you have many options with you you should secure rank under 2000.
Or to secure 99.8+ percentile.
