You would have to clear competitive exams like UPSC, Railway Recruitment Board exams, GATE, RBI Grade B etc., which requires a lot of dedication and hardwork. It also comes with a lot of benefits like assured pension, CGHS insurance etc.

If you want to explore new places and settle abroad, then opting for postgraduate courses overseas is also a great idea. Keep in mind you will have to sacrifice and adjust a lot to a new lifestyle, which can be completely different from Indian lifestyle. The perks are higher standard of living, better wages and much more. In case you get homesick easily, don't choose this option.
