Firstly coming to the courses , both the courses have likely equal future scopes but CSE is better in terms of placements. And now coming to the universities , thapar university stands  a little ahead of UIET , chandigarh. Well , UIET is also a good institute but when it comes to comparing it with Thapar , then thapar wins the game.  Thapar university has a great name , and many reputed companies come to thapar university for placements. The faculty of thapar is also good.  And infrastructure is so appreciable. Also the placement packages at thapar university are higher than that at UIET , chandigarh
