The institute offers admission at three levels: undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral. At the UG level, the institute offers B.E. programmes. Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Engineering at UIET Chandigarh is offered in the following: biotechnology engineering, computer science engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, electronics and communication engineering, information technology, mechanical engineering and microelectronics. The mode of UIET Chandigarh courses is both part-time and full-time mode. University Institute of Engineering and Technology Chandigarh courses are offered in engineering, architecture and computer application and IT. The fee for the UIET Chandigarh UG course is Rs. 2,89,000 whereas, the fee for PG courses except for M.Tech Microelectronics is Rs. 47,980. For M.E. admissions at UIET Chandigarh, preference shall be given to students with valid GATE scores.

College Infrastructure
UIET is situated in the south campus of Panjab University so obviously its infrastructure is normal. But the infrastructure of North campus of PU is great. Many facilities like PU market ,Banks, Dispensary, a very good Library all are basically present in the north campus. But overall UIET's infrastructure is also good.
Great experience had a good college life.
College Infrastructure
Good infrastructure and facilities,had no issues in the 4 years of my graduation. Everything we needed for the projects were easily available within the city and the teachers were always there to help us do all the necessary things we want for our projects. Hostels were also very close to our college so it was quite a good experience to have college and hostels so close.
Life is Incomplete If you don't spent time in PU Hostels
College Infrastructure
College infrastructure was good there are three Blocks 1,2, 3 having good vibe all together. Classrooms are good not all have the AC. Some of things on the canteen side can be improved to have more varieties over there for food.

Dear aspirant,
University Institute of Engineering and Technology,Punjab is considered as a tier-1 institute by NIRF. Admissions here are done on the basis of Jee Mains rank and JAC Chandigarh Counselling.
Based upon you rank,you can certainly get computer science in UIET as the closing rank for this stream for SC last year was 122050. Note the cutoff may vary for this year but you still have a fairly good chance of being admitted into this institute.
