In state govt. Institutions, there is no such limitations, you can work in hospitals without disturbing your academics.

If you are capable to handle your work and academics in a correct equilibrium, then there is no such restrictions.

But, in central govt hospitals and research institutions you are not allowed to do it. They will ask you to sign up a bond for not engaging in private practise or any other activities.

In state govt.there is no such restrictions. It depends on your ability.
