Hi, admission to MA Political science course in School of Open learning(SOL) is conducted either through entrance exam or on the basis of merit. Admission through merit is only for students who have completed their graduation degree from Delhi University, so it's not necessary for you to appear for an entrance exam, you can get admission based on merit. But you can appear for entrance exam as well if you wish to take admission through it. I'll mention the eligibility criteria for both methods of admission:

  • Entrance Based Admissiom: BA (Hons.)/ BA (Pass) or BA from any university with 50% marks in aggregate OR Any graduation degree with 60% marks in aggregate.
  • Merit Based Admission: BA (Hons.) in Political Science from DU with 60% marks in aggregate

Good Luck
