Hello,

It is because the Department of Medical Education and Research, Punjab, is yet to take a decision regarding implementing the policy of 10 per cent reservation on MBBS and BDS seats for economically weaker section (EWS) candidates in the state.

In its notification for admission criteria on MBBS and BDS seats for 2019-2020 issued on June 6, the department has made no mention of EWS seats in the medical colleges of the state.
