Dear student, IT branch is mostly favoured by candidates who sit for WBJEE, as the quality of education in these colleges are pretty high and even the placements. ECE branch doesn't bring fair placements to the candidates pursuing the course over in WBJEE colleges. Hence, with the increasing competition IT branches havr high cutoffs.
