Sastra University provides two kind of scholarships 

I. HOSTEL SHOLARSHIP

The first one is a cheque of sixteen thousand and it is given at the end of every even semester. This is the reimbursement of the hostel fee(Mess) paid by the student.

The criteria for this are mess fee has to be paid without fine, maintaining a minimum of ninety percent attendence in both the semesters and hostel attendance is mandatory and should not be missed without permission.

II. DEAN'S MERIT SCHOLARSHIP

 Dean's list has two categories, the top 2% students will get two-fifth of the semester fee and the top 10% will get one-fifth of the semester fee.

It is planned to provide scholarships for 400 inmates of the Students
Students will be selected subject to their satisfying certain conditions like campus discipline, attendance, academics, adhering to hostel rules, etc. The scholarship will provide reimbursement of mess fees (food expenses) paid by the student during the academic year. Following are the eligibility norms for availing the scholarship:

•  Minimum class room attendance of 90% throughout the academic year .

•  No history of indiscipline in the campus.

•  No history of overstay or leaving the hostel without prior permission.

•  Minimum CGPA of 7.5%.

•  No history of arrears.

•  All fees must have been paid promptly without any fine.
