With 171 cutoff in TNEA,can i get in any(PSG,SSN) colleges?

Hello student,
You have not mentioned which category you belong to. With a cut off of 171, if you belong to general category, the chances of procuring a seat in both the colleges is less when comparing the results of previous years. To get a seat in SSN engineering college, one should have a cut off score of 190 or above to remain in the safe zone and in PSG, 198 would do in general category. But, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats. You can try for managment quota, if possible.
