Hi,

Congratulations on the good score. I hope this is the your best of four percentage including Mathematics that you have mentioned(96.4). If you do not include Maths, there will be deduction of 2.5% when you apply for Statistics Hons.

If this is your best of four, you are getting some decent colleges in the first cutoff list itself like Ram Lal Anand and Ramunajan College. You are very close to the cutoff for the course at Venky(97) and Ramjas(96.5) colleges which are among the best for this course. Do look out for the next cutoff list, you have a good chance.

Hindu might be difficult. You have a fair chance for LSR in the next cutoff lists for both B.com Hons and Statistics. For now, take admission wherever you're getting and you may upgrade as you get better.Statistics has a lot of scope these days and it is one of the fastest growing careers. You may go for govt jobs in RBI or as Statistical Officer. Lots of opportunities in the private and corporate world too. The course would also help surely in your journey of becoming a CA. Follow your interest, I would say.
