The percentile mentioned is quite remarkable. JEE Main and JEE Advance, both are quite different exams. You don't need to depend on JEE Advance to get into NITs. You just need to clear JEE Mains with percentile enough to get into NITs. For CSE in NIT Warangal, one must score above 99 percentile. Your rank is likely to be around 15,000-18,000. You can try for other branches in any other NITs and you will surely get one. Good luck.

Only IITs take students through the JEE Advanced.

All the NITs, other CFTIs and some other institutes like BIT Mesra take their students through JEE Main.

To qualify JEE advance , above 70% mark is eligible. More than 2 lakh students appear jee every year. If you have 98.3 percentile then you will be eligible but it is decided by the NTA board and they will release the merit list.

Using JEE Advance marks you can join IIT colleges only. For NIT ,you will use jee main marks. If you have a rank below 50k then you can join any NIT campus across India. The more low is your rank, you will get high demanded branch like CSE,ECE or you can go for other core branch or non technical branches too.
