Hostels are cozy, and W-Fi is available in both academic and residential blocks. Besides, sports and recreation facilities have also been made available to ensure that students have a balanced life. Campus etiquette promotes discipline and values, which encourages students to concentrate on their studies and career objectives.

Faculty members of IIM Ranchi are extremely competent, a good number of them have their Ph.D. from top Indian as well as foreign universities. They are always available for help, very easy to talk to, and are thoroughly dedicated to their task. Exams are carefully organized and challenge the understanding of concepts rather than memory.

Close to 100% of a batch of students succeeded to land a job, while the highest salary package was approximately 30 LPA. Average salaries are also pretty good when compared with other B-schools. The companies that have recruited the most this year are Deloitte, EY, PwC, KPMG, Aditya Birla Group, Amazon, and a number of other well-established businesses.

As a current student at IIM Ranchi, I’ve seen the institute evolve from interim facilities to the newly developing permanent campus. Although some areas are still under construction, the existing infrastructure is modern and functional. Our classrooms are equipped with smart boards and projectors, which makes learning interactive. The hostel accommodations are comfortable, with good internet connectivity and essential amenities. While the campus isn’t the largest, it fosters a close-knit community and easy interaction with peers and faculty.

The MBA curriculum at IIM Ranchi is thoughtfully structured. In the first year, I studied core subjects ranging from Marketing and Finance to Operations, Human Resources, and Quantitative Methods. This foundation gave me a holistic view of management principles. In the second year, I have the flexibility to choose specialized electives based on my interests and career goals. The teaching approach is highly application-based: we frequently work on case studies, presentations, group projects, and real-world simulations. Faculty members bring in industry insights that keep the coursework relevant and engaging.

One of the strongest aspects of my experience here is the placement support. Our placement committee is proactive in organizing workshops, mock interviews, and networking events. Major companies across sectors like Consulting, FMCG, Banking, and E-commerce come to campus, offering competitive packages and diverse roles. I appreciate how the institute continuously strives to forge new industry connections, which, in my opinion, has a positive impact on final and summer internship placements

While the fees can feel substantial, I believe the overall return on investment is promising. The blend of a rigorous curriculum, quality teaching, and robust placement outcomes helps justify the cost. Additionally, the institute provides scholarships and financial aid, which has been helpful for students needing extra support. In my view, the academic exposure, industry connections, and career prospects make it a worthwhile investment.

Campus life at IIM Ranchi is dynamic and student-driven. I’ve joined a few clubs that host activities related to marketing, finance, operations, and other domains, which adds a hands-on dimension to what we learn in class. We also celebrate cultural festivals and annual fests that bring everyone together, fostering a sense of camaraderie. Ranchi itself may not be a metro city, but it has shops, restaurants, and healthcare facilities nearby, so I’ve never felt limited in terms of daily conveniences

IIM Ranchi has been an excellent choice for my mba. The academic rigor, engaging classroom discussions, supportive peer group, and evolving campus infrastructure have all contributed to a positive learning environment. Although the institute is relatively new compared to older IIMs, I believe it’s growing fast and solidifying its reputation. For anyone looking for a balanced mix of academics, placements, and a collaborative campus culture, IIM Ranchi is definitely worth considering.

College infrastructure is very nice and it has all adequate infrastructure. It currently lacks designated sports complex but it will be done in upcoming year. It has sufficient canteens,supermarket,gym etc necessary for a residential program.

I am studying MBA Program and the faculties are very good in terms of qualification and understanding. Its very enriching interms of knowledge levels and the grading are competitive with lot of components.

Everybody gets 100% percent placed here. Lot of major brands comes here as shown in the placement report. Majorly in marketing,HR,finance,etc. Definitely a good place to be interms of placement. Highly recommend.

IIM is a IIM, Its a high value for money. If you want to get good management education with placement, its good place to be in. The fees is around 20L for a complete program including hostel and academics.

Campus life is worth it,Its topnotch and keep yourself on the toes always and prepare you for all business challenges. Always something happens in the college and never short of fun and busy schedule.

We did not have a permanent campus at that time, hence rated 4. Wifi was available, AC classroom, single occupancy hostel, clean space, Good breakfast and snacks, terrible lunch, average dinner. Now IIM Ranchi has a permanent campus. So things are a lot better now.

Many professors are below average. But, few were exceptionally good. Occasionally, industry leaders would come and teach us about real-life business, which was very helpful. Economics best, Finance faculty is good, Marketing good, operation good, rest average.

Good placement record with reputed brands. 100% placement in most years. In our batch, the highest package was around 30 lpa. The average was 12-14 lpa. we were the unlucky COVID batch that struggled with placements. It changes based on market demand in the placement year.

Helped me double my salary if I compare before and after the MBA. Also, lots of new career opportunities post MBA. So, i found it worth the money.

Though we missed the benefits of a permanent campus, we had a great hostel life at the Khelgaon campus. It was a memory to cherish for a lifetime.

I find the natural campus of IIM Ranchi quite appealing. The abundance of comfortable spots for work and study adds a positive touch to the learning environment. It could, however, use a little more colour and some maintenance as well. It is still developing so let's see how better it gets.

Academics are good enough, I like the classes they are very informative, and most of the MBA professors are very kind and good to talk to. They are very knowledgable and know how to teach well. While there are some who are just plain and simple incompetent others make up for them.

I have heard the placements in the past have been good and have only increased with time, I feel they will continue to get better because the campus is developing and we are increasingly holding more conferences.

IIM RANCHI is the one of the newest Management Institute in Ranchi Which is Baby IIM . Infrastructure is well equiped with centralized AC. well maintained classes but the hostel is not near to the college.

studying management here and quality of teaching is also standard . All the curriculums are updated . and the way of teaching styles of faculties are really very well witha lot of practicals case studies.

we can say that placement is average , because of the name of IIMs, fees are very high but we can say an emerging Institute . Placement support from the college is also good. Most of the students got placed from here except those who want to pursue higher studies.

So far the college supports with good infrastructure for their students. Very good online resources as well. The place is very hygenic and very well maintained. Also, a lovely hostel infrastructure. Very good wifi and other facilities.

The human resource management programme is very well structured and ahead of it's time I would say. Their main focus to make students industry-ready so that wherever they go they have a competitive advantage over other peers.

Best placement amongst the newer IIMs, since the college has completed 10 years, the placements have marvellously improved. Kudos to the placement team and the college. The average package always increases yearly. Refer to the placement reports on their official website for more details.

The new campus is still being made, but so far the college is up to the mark and functions very smoothly nonetheless. The new campus is promising and may start operating in 3-4 years from now. The student bodies works really hard for the college to function seamlessly.
