IIM Calcutta has released the CAT cutoff 2025 for batch 2026-28. Candidates must fulfil the minimum requirements on both section-wise and overall percentiles in CAT 2025. IIM Calcutta cut off 2025 includes Quantitative Ability (QA), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC). According to IIM Calcutta CAT cutoff 2025, for open category students, VARC and DILR is ≥80 while QA is ≥75. IIM Calcutta cutoff for EWS students is ≥70 (VARC) and ≥65 (DILR and AQ). For SC students, VARC is ≥65 according to the IIM Calcutta MBA cut off 2025, and DILR and QA cutoffs are ≥60. Likewise, for ST students, VARC is ≥55, DILR, and QA cutoff percentiles are ≥55. According to CAT cutoff of IIM Calcutta 2024, for open category students, VARC and DILR is ≥80 while QA is ≥75. IIM Calcutta cutoff for EWS students is ≥70 (VARC) and ≥65 (DILR and AQ). For SC students, VARC is ≥65 according to the IIM Calcutta MBA cut off 2024, and DILR and QA cutoffs are ≥60. Likewise for ST students, VARC is ≥55, DILR, and QA cutoff percentiles are ≥55. IIM Calcutta conducts a three-stage process for shortlisting candidates for final admission. In the first step of IIM Calcutta admission, candidates are shortlisted based on their CAT score, and in the second stage, shortlisted candidates have to appear for the Personal Interview and Written Ability Test.

Stage 1- Minimum IIM Calcutta CAT percentile cut-offs

The final IIM Calcutta admission criteria are based on performance in CAT 2024 scores, PI, WAT, and points awarded for Academic Diversity at Bachelor’s level for Non-Engineering degree and work experience.
