About Cutoff at IIM Kashipur
Indian Institute of Management, Kashipur will release the cutoff based on CAT score 2023. IIM Kashipur CAT cutoff will be released after the declaration of the CAT result. Candidates have to clear the cutoff to get shortlisted for IIM Kashipur admission process which includes GD and PI rounds. IIM Kashipur offers MBA and MBA (Analytics) programmes for which admission is provided based on the score of the Common Admission Test. Amazing building and amenities, it's good for dap candidates as well. Fully furnished with wifi. There's gym, lawn tennis court, basketball etc. Cleaners visit room every single day and your floor and room are cleaned continuously.

To answer your question, NO, work experience in not compulsory for MBA in Business Analytics from IIM Kashipur.
Though, having work experience would definitely help in your interview, and further ahead in your career, but it is definitely not compulsory.

I would suggest your brother to go for IIM( Indian Institute of Management ) Trichy(Tiruchirappalli ) as it is definitely a better IIM than IIM Kashipur as according to NIRF rankings IIM Trichy is at 17 where as IIM Kashipur is at 33 so you can see the huge difference , also IIM Kashipur is a very new IIM in comparison to Trichy .
Your brother should choose a better college than the one which is closer to home .The placement scenario of Trichy is much better than Kashipur .
